After a decade of reading photography articles and taking picture and changing gear, I can say that this article has been the most enlightning one ever.
"the sensitivity of the sensor doesn’t change when altering ISO", "Raising the exposure decreases the perceived noise more than raising the ISO".
The quality of my image has skyrocketed after understanding those key facts.
I have been able to achieve what I thought was impossible before: taking great pictures in low light with an old CANON EOS 550D without a flash, despite the fact that so many "influencers" on youtube tell you this kind of APS-C is a piece of crap for low light. Utterly wrong.
