Uncheck the Preferences - Selection - Single file keys works for multiple files too (I assume you use FastRawViewer Version2, in V1 this setting is in Grid/Filmstrip group)
This will result in separate hotkeys for selected files (you'll need to assign shortcut to Menu - Select/Batch - move to rejected
Drag Filimstrip panel either out of main program window (e.g. to second monitor) or to left or right dock areas.
You may resize Filmstrip to have multiple rows after that, so it will behave like 'Grid'
