Thank you. I downloaded 1.0.5. Deleted all other instances of FRV and the associated preferences etc. Fired up 1.0.5.
I was able to open the Preferences dialog with no problems; and to load a folder of NEF files. But the program crashed shortly after I started viewing the files. I reopened it and checked the License information from the Help Menu. Again it crashed immediately after briefly showing the thumbnail of a dialog in the center of the screen. On my machine 1.0.5 seems only marginally more stable than 1.1.1.
I know this could be a user-configuration issue, but honestly after trying to disable various things I can't get the program to perform reliably.
