Focus Peaking on raw files

Hi,
Focus Peaking on JPEG files work fine but they seem to be completely useless for RAW files (I'm using Fuji X-T1 .raf files).
When I'm focus peaking on raw files, the entire picture is highlighted in red. On JPEG files, the actual focus area is highlighted in red.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it normal? Does it only occur on fuji .raf file? I'm thinking of getting a license but the only reason I'll be using it is for culling using Focus Peaking.

Not sure how this happens, just checked with X-T1 files and focus peaking works:

Could you please provide us with the model of your graphics card, and make sure your video drivers are up to date?

Are those JPEG files or RAW files?
I see the same thing with jpeg files so it works well with jpeg files.
But with raw files (.raf), everything is displayed with red focus dots.
I can't seem to be able to paste an image here unfortunately but here's a link where I put a screen capture of both a jpeg file and a raw file.
You'll be able to see the difference between the two.

My video card is NVIDIA GeForce 310. Haven't had any problems with it so far (am using Lightroom and Photoshop as well).

Those are raw files in my post.

The red dots on your raw are noise I guess, noise causes false fine detail. You may want to try the other focus peacking mode, Preferences -> GPU processing -> High contrast edges; the default toggle key to switch between modes is "P" -- it sequences between Off  – High contrast edges – Fine details – Both filters – Off. Since noise is often inevitable, I figured a way. In the Raw+Jpeg preferences, I switched to display the internal jpeg image by default.
With this option set, focus peaking works as well on my raw file as on jpeg files now and it is now useful for me.
