Ability to Search in FRV for Labled or Rated (Star) Images

About a week ago I purchased and started using FRV. I was hoping it to be a replacement to my very aging LR 6.14. The one major thing I absolutely love about LR is the ability to search or photos based on an almost unlimited criteria. I wasn't expecting that in FRV. What I thought it could do was at least search of images having a Color Label or Rating.
I tried everyway I could think of, read what the manual says about Labels and Ratings, and find no reference to searching. SO am I missing something?
I'm not knocking FRV, it is a great app. I do question just how usable it can be, when you're not able to search for images. You have to be in the folder containing images that have been rated, labeled, and you see them then. My structure on my HDD, I have a main parent folder called Photograhs, then all the folders beneath are broken down to the Years and Months, then some further by special activities.
Culling I would have liked to navigate to the HDD, then perhaps the Photographs folder and from there search for images within. Not Possible?
