Batch rename files based on EXIF?
Forums:
I have a large collectoin of photos from over the years from different camera makes and models, I like to rename them based on the EXIF info. From oldest to newest.
for instance Photo_0001 is from June 6 2004
Photo_6541 is from July 4 2022
Can i do this with fast raw viewer?
It has the option to rename based on exif info but it put's said info into the file name where i like them to be simple Photo_0001 from 2004 to Photo_6541 for newest.
Thanks for the help

You're probably looking for 'sequence number' token in renaming rule, see details about tokens/rename rules in the manual: https://updates.fastrawviewer.com/data/FastRawViewer2-Manual-ENG.pdf#pag...
You probably may want to set the Preferences – Copy/Move/Rename – Keep sequence numbers for rename between session setting to checked, to have global incrementing counter.
Use EXIF timestamp sort order to sort your files from oldest to newest: https://updates.fastrawviewer.com/data/FastRawViewer2-Manual-ENG.pdf#pag...
Visit your folders with files from oldest to newest or put all your files to be renamed into a single folder.
