Best way to compare similar photos?
Forums:
Good morning, I'm trying out the software and enjoying pretty much everything, but I still haven't found a satisfactory way to compare similar photos. In the software I used (Digital Photo Professional 3) I was able to overlap the 2 photos in 2 windows and see which one was sharper and I loved it. How do you recommend?

Thanks for answer! I would also suggest to alow overlap in 2 windows like DDP3.
FastRawViewer has so many custom options, it is just amazing, but I'm missing this one!

If both images are already in
If both images are already in decoded file cache: image switching is near instant in FastRawViewer, so this effectively an overlay.

This is true, perfectly solved! Thanks!!
May I also ask if there is any way to put the "Esc" key when I'm viewing a photo to return to the main photos thumbails grid?

All shortcuts are assignable
All shortcuts are assignable by user: https://updates.fastrawviewer.com/data/FastRawViewer2-Manual-ENG.pdf#pag...
The shortcut you're asking for ('Return from full-screen or single image mode') is already assigned to the Esc key
