Autoexposure does not work

Hi, I can not get the function "exposure correction on file open: autoexposure" to work.
Are there any other settings needed beside what I find under Preferences / Image Display / Exposure ?

Dear Sir:

'Autoexposure on next file' works only if there is no exposure correction already stored in XMP file.

(if it doesn't work for you in this case, please provide more details: camera used, and FRV version)

Thanks, that was a fast response. After deleting the xmp's in my folder autoexposure works just fine.
