Using FRV with non-Adobe programs

I have just purchased FastRawViewer and want to use it along with my main file management program, Photo Mechanic, as well as other image editors, such as Photo Ninja and One1 Photo RAW. Unfortunately, it appears that ratings and colors that are applied in FRV are not picked up by the other programs. Am I missing something?

FastRawViewer uses standard xmp:Rating and xmp:Label XMP sidecars tags.

Ratings: some programs may use own metadata database and you may need to sync it with XMP files explicitly (for example, Adobe Lightroom requires it for images already imported into catalog)

Labels: different programs uses different 'label styles' (words/phrases assigned to label). You may need to sync used style with your programs. To change style in FRV use Preferences - XMP - XMP Label style (you may need to use 'Custom' style and enter your own labels)
