Using FRV in my Lightroom workflow

Hi,
I have just found FRV and I like what I see so far I want to be able to scan through the raws fast, easily mark rejects and picks guided by your raw data information (wish LR had this capability) I will do all developing & adjustments in LR. But as a long time lightroom user could you consider tweaking a couple of things to make life easier for LR users/all?
1: Could you put a settings option for LR short key compatability?
eg cursor L/R moves images, X rejects, P picks (notice you dont seem to have pick?), G thumbnail view, E single image view
2: It was a pain to go through and setup the keyboard shortcuts and as your license allows a 2 machine install can you give me a way to export/import settings so I can easily keep my laptop/desktop config/options aligned.
3: You have open next file after rating set if you added the adobe pick flag I assume that would also move to next file (yes please).
4: Not had chance to try this yet but if you shoot RAW & JPG which I occasionally do if you reject the RAW does it rejject the JPG as well? (Yes please) eg treat RAW + JPG and one entity.
Thanks for yuor consideration.
Regards Chris.

Dear Sir:

> 1: Could you put a settings option for LR short key compatability?

Yes, we will have this in near future.

> 2: can you give me a way to export/import settings so I can easily keep my laptop/desktop config/options aligned

In 'Keyboard shortcuts editor' please use 'Save' on one machine and 'Load' on the other one. The settings you've made for the shortcuts will be saved on the first machine, and you can transfer the settings file to another one and load the settings there, keeping settings in sync this way.

> 3: if you added the adobe pick flag

This is an internal flag for Lightroom catalogue, it is not read from XMP; and thus, unfortunately, we can't implement it.

> 4: if you reject the RAW does it reject the JPG as well?

It is implemented this way, yes.

1.My Ricoh GR saves files in DNG.  Are edits made in FRV stored internally in .DNG or are sidecars generated?  One of the advantages of using DNG is avoiding the need for sidecars (I think, but I may be wrong).
2.  I save files on the camera as DNG + large jpg.  Is it the large jpg I see when I select jpg or is the thumbnail?
Thanks for your great products!
Jon
P.S. (Bought your products after reading about it and RAWDigger on diglloyd.com)

FRV do not alter RAW files in any way, RAW-files are opened in read-only mode.

So, for DNG files (and other formats with possible embedded XMP)

   - XMP data are read from DNG (if no sidecar file present)

   - if metadata is altered, separate sidecar XMP file is created with all data readed from DNG plus altered values (rating, label, exposure, WB)

Adobe products (Bridge, Camera RAW, Lightroom) works fine with this behaviour: sidecar file is preferred over embedded XMP, when you change something, than XMP file is imported into DNG (and xmp sidecar file deleted after that).

2. With default FRV settings, if RAW+JPEG files are present, the embedded thumbnail is ignored and 'J' key switches between RAW (indicated as R in the bottom bar) and external JPEG (indicated as J). You can change this in Preferences-RAW+JPEG pane

Thanks for the info (and a great  product).

Sorry, I found the answer to the second question in the manual:  I should have looked first!
