Comparing 2 images

Hello,
Is there a way to compare two images full screen ? As far as I understand, it's only possible to display one image at a time. This feature could be very useful for culling so as to compare two different compositions for example.
Thanks in advance and best,
John

We were asked for this feature many times.

Unfortunately, two-file view requires full program internals re-design. It is build around single file view. So, do not expect two (or more) files view before  FastRawViewer 2.0

Although I appreciate there would be a lot of work in such a re-design, in the real-world the two-file comparison view is badly needed. I would be happy to pay more for a licenced version which includes that feature.

I used FastRawViewer for the first time ever yesterday while sat with a client on my MacBook Pro away from home. We both needed to compare some of my images in pairs and I had to say that I was unfamiliar with the program and didn't know how to do that yet.

Hi,
I'm very new to FRV and to the world of doing more than minimal post processing in general having come from Apple's now defunct Aperture.  In regard to this question, a user could compare two (or more with  four being a practical limit) images side by side and I must say it was quite ehelpful when you are trying to choose betweeen tow images that are quite close in quality.  Please include in FRV 2.0 if you can.

Dear Rene:

Yes, we do have plans to include it.
