Find a file or select all files meeting a criterion

Hi all,
this should be simple but I cannot see how to do it.
How do I filter or search in grid view for all files meeting a simple criterion such as file type, or (string) in filename?
The current ability to filter only by Label or Rating is extremely limiting.

Unfortunately, only rating/label filtering is supported.

More generic filtering is in TODO list for some major features upgrade.

Yes that would be extremely handy thank you, and bring FRV up to the expected standard for any file-reviewing software.
