How to synchronize image display and the bottom panel (with mouse wheel)?
Forums:
Hi,
My main laptop crashed today so I am trying to move to a new laptop and was trying to use FastRawViewer 2.0.5.
On the original laptop when I use FRV, I can use the mouse wheel and it will change to the next image AND highlight the next image in the bottom panel. but for some reason FRV on the new laptop is not doing that...
Or rather, it does do that for awhile, then at some point, it stops changing the image and stops highliting the next image in the botgtom panel.
How can I setup FRV to behave the same way as the old laptop?
Thanks,
Jim

With default settings,
With default settings, FastRawViewer scrolls filmstrip (or grid view) via mouse wheel, but not change current image (displayed in the main program window).
So you probably tuned it to use mouse wheel for next/prev images via shortcut assignment procedure: https://updates.fastrawviewer.com/data/FastRawViewer2-Manual-ENG.pdf#pag...

After pressing [+] (add shortcut) this window should appear: https://www.fastrawviewer.com/sites/fastrawviewer.com/files/kb-edit-4_2.png
(this is example for mouse-only action, Next/Prev file will not have 'keyboard/mouse wheel....' disclaimer)
You need to use mouse wheel when mouse cursor is within capture window.

Hi,
Hi,
I set prev and next to Wup and Wdown and the filmstrip moves when I use the mouse wheel but the image is still not changing in sync with the filmstrip :(!!
What could I be doing wrong?

Oh, I just figured it out. I have to have the mouse pointer in the image pane and then the wheel changes both the strip and the image.
There still is something wrong though, at least compared to Rawviewer on my other PC. I think that I used to be able to move the image around by clicking on the image, but right now that doesn't work.
