WEBP image support?

Sorry - i couldn't find the search tool, so i'll ask directly.
Is there WEBP file support planned, or should i start to convert all my WEBP images to JPGs?

Unfortunate, but OK for me. I just installed an extension on my browser that will convert all WEBP images to JPGs. Thanks for the info.
