no cache preload

The SW doesnt't preload the photos from SD-card to the cache, viewing possible only one by one. Changed the cache depth but no impact.
Any idea what might be wrong?

Prefetch depth on removable media is controlled by

 a) Preferences - Removable media - Prefetch depth on (Removable Media/Network volumes)

 b) and Preferences - Performance - Number of simultaneous RAW decode threads



You may try to increase these values, but it will help only if you're using very fast reader and media.
