jpeg vs jpg handling

The handling of RAW+jpeg is not working for files using .jpeg extension, but it is working for files using .jpg extension. This is somewhat annoying since my editor defaults to .jpeg. Using FRW 1.4.5 build 1206 on MacOS 10.12.6.

Dear Sir:

yes, this is intended behavior: RAW+JPEG mode is targeted for out-of-camera image pairs, not RAW+edited JPEG (because edited JPEG may use different cropping or even orientation changed). All cameras makes JPEGs with JPG extension.
