Rating in FRV before importing into Lightroom

Hi,
I would like to use FRV to rate my files before I import them into LR (Adobe Lighroom CC). But I have difficulties getting my FRV ratings over into Lightroom.
Here is what I do:

  1. Rate all photos in FRV
    xmp files get created for each rated photo.
  2. Import all photos into LR (Lightroom)
  3. Select all photo in LR and execute Metadata > Read metadata from file

Some of the ratings I did in FRV, appear in LR, some not.

Please make sure that files you import are not in Lr catalog already.

For files already in catalog, select all files (or some files that needs update), than use Menu - Metadata - Read Metadata from files.

This will refresh Lr catalog with .XMP files contents.
