No Preview generated for DNG without embedded JPG

I noticed there's no thumbnail displaying for DNG filse that has no embedded JPG, is there option to force generating thumbnails somehow?
In addittion one of the files it shows pink for some reason when open full screen view.

Thumbnails are displayed from

  • Embedded thumbnail/preview (if present)
  • Paired JPEG (in RAW+JPEG mode)

If your phone camera app allows RAW+JPEG shooting (and do not record embedded thumbnail/preview in the DNG file) it is suggested to use this mode.
